Douglas E. Tinant, 63, died at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary Hospice House on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Tinant, Piedmont; his mother, Babe Tinant, Rapid City; a daughter, Dawn Torres, Florida; a son, Sean Tinant, California; 2 brothers, Chuck Tinant, Rapid City and Mark Tinant, Gilbert, AZ and 2 grandchildren. A celebration of life and time or sharing will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
