It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dustin Duane Nickle, born October 18, 1971, who passed away on June 10, 2018.

Dustin graduated from Wessington High School in 1990. He then attended Black Hills State University where he would meet his future wife, Jessica Balander, along with his life long friends Jason McKee, Tony Milos, Renee Harwood (to name a few).

He worked in Deadwood for seven years as a waiter. Dustin graduated from National American University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Upon graduating, he started working with Casey Peterson and Associates, where he would work for ten years.

Jessica and Dustin became husband and wife at Sioux Park in Rapid City on August 4, 2001. His passion in life was being a gamer, watching movies, listening to music, being a son, uncle, brother and husband.

Dustin will be remembered by his loving wife, Jessica Balander; father, Duane (Susan) Nickle; brother, Douglas (Cary) Nickle; niece, Danielle Nickle; nephew, Seth Nickle; aunts: Shirley Bernie; Mary (Jay) Till; Darla Pintuck; uncles: LaVern Lenz and Kenneth Lenz; and numerous cousins.

He has joined with both grandparents: John HH and MaLinda Lenz; Ray and Joyce Shoemaker; mother and father in law, Victor and Dorothy Balander; sister in law Vicki Balander; and cousin, MaLita Bernie-Blue in the hereafter.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Mountain Lawn Cemetery in Lead.
