Earl W. Hicks, II, 43, of Rapid City, died Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Rapid City.

He was born on June 30, 1972 to Richard and Jackie (Hirst) Hicks in Muncie, Indiana.

Earl is survived by his mother and step father, Jackie & Tim Giago, Rapid City, brothers; Tim Giago, III, Rapid City, Troy Giago, Hot Springs, his sisters; Lana Grove, Lawrence, KS, Terri Giago, San Diego, CA, Lora Taber, Sacramento, CA, Lisa Slaven, (Joseph), Tampa, FL, Sharri Olson-Collar, Atlanta, GA, Marie Giago, Lawrence, KS, Denise Giago, Belleview, WA, Michele Hudson, Black Hawk, his aunt, Jessie (Tom) Lawell, Northville, OH, nieces and nephew; Jessica Slaven, Naomi Palmer, Keith Aherns, Michael, Collin and Jennifer Olson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
