Rapid City, SD - Elizabeth J. (Betty) Green, 87, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at her daughter's home in Rapid City.

Betty was born on August 6, 1937, at Rapid City Hospital, the youngest child of Lawrence and Caroline Rossum.

She was working at the family realty business, Rossum & Neal Realtors when she met and married Donald Green on November 25, 1960. Together, they ran Rapid Tank & Supply and ultimately opened a couple of other businesses along the way. Her true love was collecting antiques, dolls and miniatures.  The Dollhouse Haven and Woodcarver's Shop was the last business they owned which combined both of their interests, miniatures and woodcarving.  Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she was deeply loved by all of her family. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include daughters, Carol Crozman (John), and Janet Green (Lee). One son, Jim Green (Kara). Eight grandchildren, Christie Green (Mac), Bryce Green (Erin), Barbara Green, Becky Glidden (Tim), Kellie McLain (Adam), Paul Melucas, John Challender, and Jennifer Challender. Also, 18 ½ Great grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents and both siblings, Bob Rossum and Beverly Neal, two special nieces and nephew and numerous aunts and uncles.

Burial and services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:00 am. Time has been set aside at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home from 8:30-9:00 am for anyone wishing to visit the family before departing promptly at 9:00 am for Black Hills National Cemetery.

There will be a light lunch served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hay Camp Brewery located at 601 Kansas City St. in Rapid City. Come celebrate with the family, a life well lived.
