RAPID CITY- Ella Norrita Brunson, 13 months and 29 days old, went to heaven on December 14, 2010 at Rapid City Regional Hospital, Rapid City, SD. Ella was born on October 17th, 2009, at 11:34a.m., in Bismarck, ND. She was the youngest of triplets. She was the daughter of Raymond Brunson and Jennifer Pekas. You arrived too early and too small, but there was nothing small about your spirit. You brought joy to so many and your time with us was a gift that will be cherished forever. You are now free from your suffering, and with your brother Robert you will give us the strength to go on. We will hold you in our hearts until we meet again. Rest peacefully, Princess Ella. We love you. Ella is survived by her parents, Raymond Brunson and Jennifer Pekas; her oldest brother Blake Brunson, and her brother Joe Brunson; her grandparents Douglas and Jody Pekas and Robert and Judy Brunson; her great-grandparents Norbert and Leona Amann, Janet Coe, Vernon Coe, and Raymond and Mavis Mayner; her aunties and uncles, Josh and Megan VanLishout, Michael Pekas, Darren Pekas, Robert and Norrita Langston and Joe and Brittany Brunson; her cousins MaKenna and Jaycee VanLishout and Brunson and Riley Langston. She also survived by many loving great-aunts and great-uncles. Ella is also survived by all her honorary aunties, uncle, and amazing Dr. Ocejo at Medcenter One. They spent every day with Ella for the first 13 months of her life loving and caring for her. There are no words to describe our gratitude. Ella is preceded in death by her brother Robert Douglas Brunson. Memorial services for Ella and Robert will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Cleveland officiating.
