Emma V. Flanery, 93, of Rapid City, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020, in Rapid City.

She was born in Prairie Center Township in Southeast South Dakota to Peter and Serina (Christensen) Ebsen.

Survivors include her children, Dennis 'Denny' (Michelle) Flanery, of Rapid City; Cynthia 'Cindy' Flanery Wilson, of Rapid City, Patricia 'Pat' (Ron) Murray,of Ringgold, GA, Sherree (Mark) Olson, of St. Michael, MN and Lawrence 'Butch' (Connie) Flanery, of Little Falls, MN; a sister Maryann Hyland, of Madison, SD; a brother, Curtis 'Bud' (Virginia) Ebsen, of Madison, SD 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James R. Flanery in 1970 and five siblings.

Christian funeral mass will be offered at 10 am on Monday, May 18, at Blessed Sacrament Church.  Inurnment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Milbank.
