AUSTIN, TEXAS--Eric Hercules Geotas, 46, a resident of Austin, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, from a massive heart attack. Eric graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a B.A. in Communications in 1989 and from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business in Austin, Texas with an M.B.A. in 2012. Eric worked as a Senior Program Manager at Pearson Assessments. Eric is survived by his mother, Thea Hercules Geotas, in Rapid City, South Dakota, his brother, Jordan Geotas, sister-in-law, Christy Geotas, and Eric's two nieces, Anastasia and Constantina Geotas, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and by his uncle, Dr. Costas Hercules, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Eric's beloved father, Constantine Emanuel Geotas, predeceased Eric in 1996. Eric lived life by following and staying true to his warm, vibrant and outgoing spirit and placed all value in the many meaningful relationships in his life. Services will be held in Scottsdale, AZ, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church on Sunday, August 5, 2012.
