BOX ELDER - Erma Elaine Boydston, 66, rural Box Elder, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Erma was born on February 7, 1944, near Minot, North Dakota, to Morris and Lois (Wilson) Johnson. She grew up in North Dakota and eventually moved to Rapid City. She was united in marriage to Peter Boydston on June 5, 1973 in Viewfield. She was a great help on the family ranch and loved raising her family there. Erma was a lot of fun and a very classy woman. She was also very bright and quick-whitted. Erma liked to bowl, sew and quilt and was an awesome cook and baker. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Peter Boydston; a daughter, Kathy Faltynowicz Lucas; and a son, Thomas Faltynowicz, all of Box Elder; and one granddaughter, Brandy Jo Clinch. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30,at the funeral home, with the Rev. Herb Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow at Viewfield Cemetery, rural New Underwood.
