Eunice G. Scott, 76, of Rapid City, died Friday, June 13, 2008 at Westhills Village. She was born, Friday, November 13, 1931 in Springfield, SD to Edwin and Sena (Bach) Mattson. The family moved to a ranch in Elk Creek Valley where she and her sister grew up. Eunice graduated from Rapid City High School, then attended Black Hills State College. Eunice married Russell Scott on September 16, 1961. Eunice and her husband were co owners of the Sooper Dooper Markets in Rapid City. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, a longtime member of Arrowhead Country Club, active in A.A. and a true shopper at heart. She is survived by her husband, Russell, Rapid City, a daughter, Susan Damme and her husband, Dave, Rapid City, 2 grandsons; Jason Wade, Minneapolis and Nikolas Damme, Rapid City, a sister, Charlene Borchert-Bates and her husband, Ron, Lead and Eunices faithful companion, Misty. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00pm Monday, June 16, 2008 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jan Christensen officiating. Private interment services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
