APPLETON, Wis. - Firmin Bernard "Barney" Finnegan, 97, Appleton, and formerly of Rapid City, S.D., died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, in Appleton. He served in the Army Medical Corps during Word War II. Survivors include two sons, James Finnegan and the Rev. Terence Finnegan, both of Phoenix; one daughter, Mary Agnes Weeldreyer, Appleton; two sisters, Rosalia Odefey and Mary Ann Kraemer, both of Denison, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, with a Christian wake service at 7 p.m., at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, with the Rev. Gary Oreshoski officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
