RAPID CITY- Faith E. Bury, 98, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Monument Hospice House.

Faith was born on February 14, 1925 in Geddes, South Dakota to Frank and Josephine (Bursick) Bowen. On July 2, 1950 she married Charles M. Bury at Geddes.

Faith stayed at home for several years after having her children.  Once they were older, she went to work in the office at National College where she made lifelong friends.  She was an avid bridge player and played twice a week at the Canyon Lake Community Center up until two months before her death.  She endeared everyone she met with her sharp memory, sense of humor, entertaining stories, and delicious homemade peanut brittle.

Faith was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.  She is survived by her son Phil (Connie) Bury and granddaughters Kaylene and Emily Bury, Reno, NV; and daughter Julie (Jim) Buch, Rapid City.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
