RAPID CITY | Felice Joan "Fe" Hayden, 63, Rapid City, died Thursday, April 16 2015, of pancreatic cancer. She was born July 27, 1951, in Milbank, SD to John and Dorothy Schulte. Fe graduated from SDSU with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She married Stephen Hayden on Oct. 27, 1973, at the Newman Center in Brookings. The couple moved to Minneapolis, MN, for five years and in 1978 they moved to the Black Hills. She was a bookkeeper and homemaker. She also worked as a nanny for several years and always loved children. She was an active member of her parish community at St. Therese, the Little Flower. She was committed to her family and was especially attentive to her parents. Survivors include a daughter, Laura Cramer, Minneapolis, MN, a son, Daniel Hayden, Conroe, TX, her mother, Dorothy Schulte, Rapid City, SD, two brothers, Jack Schulte, Minneapolis, MN and Tim Schulte, St. Paul, MN, two sisters, Mary Connolly, Kimberly, WI, and Fran Schulte, Phoenix, AZ, and three grandchildren, Hudson Cramer, Maren Cramer, and Conor Hayden. She was surrounded by so many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and loving friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 20, with a Christian wake service with rosary at 7 p.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the Church of St. Therese, the Little Flower, with Rev. Bill Zandri as the celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the Church of St. Therese, the Little Flower and Wounded Warrior Project.
