Rapid City – Frank R Briones Jr. 76 passed away Saturday December 17, 2022 in Rapid City, South Dakota at Monument Health Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Frank was born October 31st 1946 to Frank R. Briones, Sr. and Lucy M. (Jimenez) Briones.

Frank was proud to be a veteran serving in the Vietnam war for the US Navy.

After his military service, Frank traveled doing iron work. He moved back home to Rapid City where he worked and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by five children: Tina (Jason) Fasnacht of Kearney NE., Frank (Priscilla) Briones III of Canton, SD; Susan Briones - Serena of Shawnee Oklahoma, Dawlton Briones of Pittsburg, PA and Dante Briones of Rapid City SD; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lucy Briones, son - Tony Briones and great-grandson - Hendrix Briones.

Graveside Service with full military honors will be 2:30 pm sharp on Friday, December 23 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, followed by Celebration of Life Gathering at 3:30 pm sharp at the American Legion Post 22, 818 East Saint Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD.
