Rapid City – Galina Plotkin, 92, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Monument Health Home Plus Hospice House.

Galina Gorelick was born March 8, 1932 at Bobrujsk, Belarus to Ilya and Dora (Vertkin) Gorelick. She married Kim Plotkin and they lived in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Survivors include her son Leonid (Carolyn) Plotkin; and two grandchildren: Juliet and Nathan Plotkin all of Rapid City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kim on April 22, 2021, and brother Fema Gorelick on August 12, 2024.

Burial Services for Galina and Kim will be held at a later date at the Mt. View Memorial Park Cemetery in Boulder, Colorado.
