Rapid City Garold Gary Tesch, 56, Rapid City, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Hospice of the Hills. Garold Wayne Tesch was born September 15, 1953 at Webster, SD to Harold Albert and Clara Mae [Dobson] Tesch. The family moved to Rapid City, SD where Garold attended school and grew to adulthood, graduating from Rapid City Central High School in 1971. He entered the U.S. Air Force on January 2, 1974 and retired as a Master Sergeant with an honorable discharge on January 31, 1996. He then began working for the City of Rapid City. Garold married Lise Marie Bendorf on June 27, 2003 at Hill City, South Dakota. Garold was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a life member of the National Rife Association [NRA]. He is survived by his wife: Lise Marie Tesch of Rapid City; three sons: James [Melissa] Tesch of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Jody [Jody] Tesch of Okinawa, Japan, and Jacob Tesch of Belleville, Illinois; three daughters: Kelli [Michael] Selbach of Rapid City, Rachel Tesch of Belleville, Illinois, and Michaela Tesch of Belleville, Illinois; four grandchildren; one brother: Donald [Sandy] Tesch of Thornton, Colorado; and one sister: Janice Mount of St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Garolds wishes were to be cremated and his Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2010 with Rev. Duane Duley officiating at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. His inurnment of his cremains will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Keystone.
