Rapid City – Gene Mankowsky, 75, died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at the Monument Health Home Plus Hospice House.

Gene Marvin Mankowsky was born June 7, 1949 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Marvin and Muriel (Holland) Mankowsky. He attended school here and grew to adulthood.

He drove semi-truck for many years and later moved to Rapid City in 2000. In Rapid City he worked at Time Rental until he retired. He married Beverly Carpenter on December 10, 2010 in Rapid City where they continued to live.

He is survived by his wife Beverly and several other relatives.

Family will have Memorial Services at a future date.
