Gerald Albert Snyder, 93, passed away Monday, April 17, 2018.

He was born June 23, 1924 to James and Helen Snyder in rural Pennington County. He attended Rapid City High School until 1942 when he enlisted in the US Navy. He was discharged as a Pharmacist's Mate Second Class in 1945. He then finished his senior year at Rapid City High School, graduating in 1946. He married Helen Fisher on August 17, 1946. They had one son, James, born in 1951. He spent a number of years in various sales jobs. In 1966 he and Helen started a new business known as Electronics Assoc. which became Team Audio Video. They ran this business for 32 years retiring in 1998.

They enjoyed hiking, fishing, dancing, four wheeling, and going on trip for many years. Gerald was also active in CB and Ham Radio. He was a member at one time in the Noon Optimist Club.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, Rapid City; son, James, Rapid City; nieces and nephews: Mark (Marilyn) Parkison, Karen Parkison, John (Tracy) Parkison, Norma Parkison, Helen Johnson and several grand nieces and nephews.
