RAPID CITY- Hali Ruth Noonan, 16, died Thursday, January 20, 2022.

Hali was born December 6, 2005 in Sioux Falls. She was adopted at age three to Jeffrey Noonan and Christal (Barnett) Noonan.

She grew up in Rapid City and attended school at Meadowbrook Elementary, Southwest Middle School and Stevens High School. Hali's interests included art, music, science, archaeology, computers, space and dinosaurs.

Hali was a very bright and happy girl. She often helped other people smile and was a little angel. She will be missed by her best friend, Ella and all of her other friends from school.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Stacy Noonan; grandpa, James Noonan; grandpa, Ken Hurley; great grandma, Bessie O'Brian; and great grandma, Ruth Noonan.

Hali is survived by her father, Jeff Noonan, Rapid City; mother, Christal Noonan (Tom Harmon), Sioux Falls; four brothers, Eli Noonan, Sioux Falls; Kyle Noonan, Rapid City; Wyatt Noonan, Rapid City; Riley Ray, Gillette, WY; two sisters, Aby Noonan, Sioux Falls and Coral Sexton, Spearfish; grandparents, Bruce and Sharon Barnett, Wall, SD; grandma, Donna Hurley, Rapid City; aunts and uncles: Eric (Tifani) Petro, Rapid City and Melissa (Gabe) Ellerton, Rapid City.

Private family services will be held.
