Rapid City Harold Corky Elwood Benson, JR, 64, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born July 7, 1947 in Houston, TX to Harold Elwood and Wilma Eloise [Lyon] Benson, SR. He served in the United States Army Air Corps. Harold was a war hero, a true friend and a generous and honorable man. Rest in Peace. Corkys Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
