Rapid City - Harold H. Willis, 79, died Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital. Harold Huey Willis was born to Pierot Mitchell and Zelma Hana [Hall] Willis on November 4, 1934 at Fairview, VA. Harold served in the United States Air Force from April 1952 until his honorable discharge in March 1960. He married Mildred Julia Huffman on June 23, 1956 at Lead, SD. After his discharge from the U.S. Air Force Harold worked as a milkman and then began working for Nabisco Food Company in 1962 where he was employed for 25 years and then worked for Highland Potato Chip Company. Harold is survived by his children: Gail [Gary] Denke, Marcy [Shawn] Wiechmann, Todd [Pam] Willis all of Rapid City; one grandson: Casey; four granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a special friend of the family Westley Gillespie; multiple nieces and nephews; and five brothers: Walter [Alice] Willis of Rogersville, TN, Wayne [Wilma] Willis of Kingsport, TN, Gary [Anne] Willis of Kyles Ford, TN, Douglas [Helen] Willis of Kyles Ford, TN, and Loran [Vada] Willis of Rogersville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred on September 30, 2011, son Boyd, daughter Linda, brother Corbin, and sister Janet. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 910 Wood Ave. Memorial service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Pastor Sam Bobby officiating. Inurnment will follow at 12:00 pm noon at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with full military honors.
