Lake Havasu City, AZ--Harriet A. Leiby Puckett, 91, passed away on November 12, 2008, in Lake Havasu City. Harriet was born in Interior, on January 20, 1917, to Jesse and Blance (Groat) Saunders. She married Archie Leiby on June 12, 1936, in Rapid City. The couple lived in Canata, where Harriet was the postmaster, and then in Interior from 1949 to 1962, where they had a repair garage and farmed. They then moved to Kadoka for 5 years, and then to Rapid City in 1968. Archie died in 1984. Harriet later married Herchel Puckett and they lived in Nevada, Florida and Arizona. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and Herchel's children. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
