Rapid City - Harry A. Kickery, 78, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Survivors include his wife: Patricia "Pat" Kickery of Rapid City, one son: Michael [Lori] Kickery of Colorado Springs, CO; three daughters: Paula [Alan] Johannesen of Rapid City, SD, Lisha [Brian] Hayen of Hill City, SD, and Heather Hickery of Rapid City, SD; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 6 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 7 at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church, 3500 Canyon Lake Drive, with Rev. Eric Grinager officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with full military honors provided. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Rushmore Lions Club Sight and Service Foundation. Harry served and retired from the United States Air Force.
