Henry Leo Lord 81 of Rapid City passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Rapid City.

Henry was born April 14, 1943 in Duluth, MN the son of Henry Ralph & Marie Bernadette (Roy) Lord. He entered the United States Navy and was honorably discharged April 1, 1961.  He married Diann Marie Rathburn September 29, 1986 in Brainerd, MN. He provided Speech Therapy services on both the Pine Ridge and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte reservations. He had a knack for working with children, volunteered at CASA, and Meals on Wheels in his last remaining year.

Henry was an avid reader for sci-fi and mystery, enjoyed classic rock, and was very proud of his service in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughter Erin Lord of Anchorage, AK.

He was preceded in death by his wife Diann Lord, parents, and brother Ed.
