Midland, Texas - Holly Marie Porter Wood, 36, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospital at Midland, Texas. Survivors include one son: Ethan Wood of Midland, TX; her father: Robert Porter, JR of Rapid City, one sister: Jan Howsare of Troy, Illinois; one brother: Brian Porter of Rapid City; grandparents: Bob Porter, SR of Rapid City, Yvonne Iwan of Dale Texas and Keith Iwan of Dale Texas; and two half-sisters: Trista Merritt of Spearfish and Mercedes Porter of Rapid City. Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Porter on February 10, 2003. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 10 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5311 Sheridan Lake Road with Rev. Herb B. Cleveland officiating. Burial will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, November 12 at Mount Calvary Cemetery at Rapid City. In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to help the family with funeral costs.
