Hugh H. Oellrich, 96, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Monument Health - Home+ Hospice House.

Hugh was born July 7, 1929 in Monfort, WI.  He was the only son of Adolph and Berla (Burris) Oellrich.   After his time in the Army and the Korean War he came back home.  He married his beloved wife Lucy (Andrada) on February 5, 1954 in Buffalo, WY.  He was a truckdriver, carpenter and local handyman.

He was known as always being kind, loving, caring and generous.

Survivors include his son Randal (Susan) Oellrich; grandchildren Stephanie Oellrich, Adrienne Oellrich, Adam (Mallory) Oellrich, Jamie (Micah) Schiller.  Great grandchildren Seth and Aiden Hones, ; Noah, Topping, Eliyah, and Ezra Schiller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lucy, and son David.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the service at Pine Lawn Memorial Park.

Light luncheon will follow at Minneluzahan Senior Center from 1:00 - 3:00.  Address is 315 N 4th St, Rapid City SD 57701.
