Ida Lee Card, 84, died at Clarkson Healthcare on Saturday, September 24, 2011. She was born on January 13, 1927, Milo and Etta Kennedy in Belltower, Montana. Lee married Richard W. Card on July 28, 1949, in Rapid City. The couple lived in California and moved to Rapid City in the early 1980's. Lee worked in the banking industry. Lee enjoyed square dancing, bowling and was a good gardener. She was a member of the Rapid Valley United Methodist Church. Survivors include a sister, Gladys Wiseman, Hardin, MT and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Card in 2000. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, at Black Hills National Cemetery with Rev. Herb Cleveland officiating. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. The family and friends of Lee would like to extend an expression of gratitude to Clarkson Healthcare and Hospice of the Hills for their wonderful care.
