Iris was born June 30, 1921 in Hoven, S.D. to Peter and Gertrude (Zweber) Lux. As with many families during the great depression era, she moved several times with her family while growing up. Iris married Art, the love of her life, on June 7, 1947, and was looking forward to their upcoming 67th wedding anniversary. They were members of the 39 Club and enjoyed many evenings of dining and dancing. Iris worked at several jobs during her life, but spent most of her time raising their four children. She was loving and giving to their children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Iris was always willing to fix food and have a party for family, friends and many times someone that showed up with one of the kids. She will be remembered for her gracious ways and elegant style.
