James "Jim" MacInnes, 91, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society – New Underwood.

James Mac Innes was born August 27, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Alexander and Esther [Spetz] Mac Innes.

Jim attended school and received his master's degree. Jim had a long and rich musical career that he felt deeply about. He was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to Germany where he studied conducting, piano performance and music theory. Jim was a graduate of Julliard and earned a master's degree composition from UCLA. He was a conductor of ballet, opera, theatre, chamber groups and symphony orchestras.  Jim was a touring musician as accompanist and soloist with the Roger Wagner Chorale.

Jim leaves behind many bereft and loving students.
