Jim was born February 5, 1941 at Rapid City, SD to Russell and Lois Ella [Barton] Martin. He served in the US Army Reserves. He married Eleanor Delores Aho on September 24, 1960 in Rapid City, SD. James was a self employed Business Consultant. Survivors include his wife: Eleanor Martin of Rapid City; one son: Jay Martin of Rapid City; his mother: Lois Blankenship of Prescott, Arizona; one brother: Robert Martin of Downey, CA and one sister: Judy Martin of Kingston, Rhode Island. Arrangements are being directed by Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard, Rapid City. Memorial Services will be held a later date and the burial of cremains will take place at the Pine Slope Cemetery at Belle Fourche, SD.
