Rapid CityJanice Westby, 66, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Janice worked at Rapid City Regional Hospital for 23 years in Distribution and retired this past July. Survivors include a son, Roy Westby and his fiance, Diane Quinn, Rapid City; a daughter, Chelene Sorenson and her husband, Kent, Littleton, CO; 2 brothers, Bill Mulroy, Beresford and Tom Mulroy, Valley Springs; 2 sisters, Debbie Farr, Hartford and Jeanette Spotted Eagle, Sioux Falls; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bob Jacobs officiating. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sioux Falls. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
