Jeffery G. White, 48, died at his home on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Jeffery was born on July 10, 1963, in Rapid City, to Gale and Lois (Bratcher) White. He grew up in Rapid City and received his GED from Job Corps in Montana. Jeff worked in the construction industry during his career in North and South Dakota and California. He retired 4 years ago due to rheumatoid arthritis from Horst Construction. He loved his children, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews very much. He also enjoyed darts, pool, cribbage, gardening and lawn work. Survivors include a daughter, Bailey White, a son, Jefferson White and their mother, Gwen Kautzman, all of Bismarck; daughters Cherish White and Melissa White, both of Ohio, special friend Michelle Gunhammer, Rapid City and 3 brothers, Blake (Verine) White, Terry White and Tim White, all of Rapid City. He was preceded in death by his parents Gale White and Lois Dingman and 3 brothers, Todd, Richard and Greg White. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City with Rev. Herb Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.
