Jeffrey Leon Beach, 60, of Rapid City, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Monument Health Rapid City.

Jeff was born on March 10, 1965, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Thomas and Lois (Williams) Beach. He was the youngest of six children and carried that role proudly throughout his life.

Jeff was well known for his quick wit and natural ability to make others laugh. A hard worker from a young age, he took pride in every job he held. He especially enjoyed his years at Kelly’s Sports Lounge and most recently at Common Cents, where he was often the first to show up and lend a hand. His strong work ethic and willingness to help others never went unnoticed.

He had a love for fast sports cars and anything that could go “really fast.” Jeff treasured time spent with friends at Kelly’s Sports Lounge, the Sun Inn, and the Clock Tower Lounge. When he wasn’t working or visiting with friends, he could often be found enjoying a good snack and watching his favorite movies.

Jeff will be remembered for his corny jokes, his role as the family’s jester, his loyal friendship, and his genuinely kind heart. He brought laughter wherever he went and leaves behind many memories filled with humor and warmth.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his half-brother, Tommy Lee Beach.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Cearra (Daryle Cournoyer) Janis Beach of Rapid City; his siblings, Andi West of Sioux Falls, Scott Beach of Rapid City, Bradley (Cheryl) Beach of Rapid City, Lisa Nyfler of Rapid City, and Drew (Rebecca Simon) Beach of Rapid City; his half-brother, Johnny (Peggy) Beach of Olathe, Kansas; his half-sister, Marcella Colbert of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
