Jeffrey James Ermish, 45, of Orlando, FL passed away on July 23, 2019 surrounded by family and his companion, Andrea after a brave battle with cancer.
He was born on April 13, 1974 in Rapid City, SD. He received his bachelor's degree from Jacksonville University and MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.
Jeff was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy in 1996 and served six years. During his career he earned his submarine dolphins and Surface Warfare Officer badge. Following his naval career Jeff managed his own flight school and flew a traffic watch airplane. He sold airplanes for Symphony Aviation. Moving into the business world, Jeff was an operations manager for Raytheon. In 2015 he moved to Vexcel and was promoted to program manager.
Jeff had many interests and hobbies. He loved sailing and served as Sail Team Commander for his NROTC unit. He enjoyed travelling and enjoyed learning about new cultures. Jeff loved dogs, particularly his new puppies Thunder and Lightning.
Jeff is survived by his father and mother, James and Veronica Ermish of Jacksonville, FL, his brother Gary (Erin)of Clayton, NC, numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well as many friends and colleagues.
