Jeffrey John Hamling passed away January 27, 2024, at home surrounded by family in Rapid City, South Dakota at the age of 76.

A celebration of his life will be 11:00am Wednesday January 31, 2024 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, with one hour of visitation prior to the service.

He was born July 12, 1947, to parents Jerold and Natella in Gregory, South Dakota.  Jeff served in the US Army.

Jeffrey married Norma Roggow on June 5, 1968.  They were blessed with 2 (two) children: Aaron and Rhonda. He farmed in Naper, Nebraska. They then moved to Rapid City and continued to work at Dakota Craft for 12 years then they moved to Burke, South Dakota before moving back to Rapid City in 2019.  He enjoyed fishing, watching Husker Football and many years of enjoying his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  He and his wife enjoyed camping.

Survivors: wife Norma: children Aaron (Sue) Hamling and Rhonda (Rob) Beals.  Grandchildren and Great Children: Valerie (Troy) McCulley and Raelynn and Rexley; Thomas (Kaylee) Hamling and Diandry, Charlie; Colton Beals; Allyson (Lucas) Holden; Eric Pavlicek; Cayden Beals; Bailey Hamling, Rylee Hamling and Noah Hamling.  Sister, Georgia Serr.
