RAPID CITY- Jenell Helen Hoff passed away peacefully at Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary Hospice House on Friday, September 9th, 2016.

Jenell was born on August 18th, 1932 in Murray County, MN. She married her soulmate, Milbert Hoff, on November 27th, 1954 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Dovry, MN after meeting in Minneapolis. They settled in Rapid City after living in Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Italy and Great Britain.

Their motto was "take care of the pennies, the nickels will take care of themselves" and they lived by that rule through their entire marriage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milbert Hoff; her parents, Edward and Laura Herrlinger and her sister Dorothy Herrlinger Benedict.

She is survived by her brothers, Gary Herrlinger of Alexandria, MN and Glen Herrlinger of Almena, WI; her dear friend Clo Anderson of Rapid City and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on  Sunday, September 11 th at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor David Fagrey,

Inurnment will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery, near Sturgis at a later date.
