Rapid City – Joan Stahnke, 81, died Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at the Rapid City Regional Hospice Auxiliary House.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Friday, May 6 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 520 Cathedral Drive with a Christian Wake and Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.

Christian Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 7 at the church.

Burial will be 1:00 pm Central Time Zone, Monday, May 9 at the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery at White Lake, SD.

Survivors include her son: Scott [Megan Kinder] Stahnke of Rapid City; five daughters: Maureen [Jim] Smith of Black Hawk, Michelle [Tim] Shelton of Rapid City, SD, Chanda [Lester] Horst of Rapid City, Carla Haugen of Colorado Springs, CO, and Christy [Rod] Winterrowd of Colorado Springs, CO; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Marion, Ellen Lee, and Patty.
