John T. Aaron, MSgt., USAF (Ret.), age 65, of Box Elder, died at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Friday, February 15, 2013. John was born August 10, 1947, to Audley Leonard and Mary Margaret (Gilchrist) Aaron and grew up in Ruston, Louisiana. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1972 and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1994. Survivors include his wife, Nit Aaron, Box Elder, three daughters, Trisha Aaron, Baton Rouge, LA, Tonya Aaron, Natchitoches, LA, Tori Aaron-Looney, Calhoun, LA and Susan Lilly, Coleman, AL; three sons, Steve Little, San Diego, CA, Keith Little, Denver, CO and Joe Sooksawat, Los Angeles, CA;2 brothers, Sidney Aaron, Georgetown, TX and Michael Aaron, Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Martha Bright, Broken Arrow, OK and Sylvia Caraway, Arlington, TX and 9 grandchildren, Jacob Mitchell, Kaleb Mitchell, Stephen Lazarus, William Lazarus, Trey Looney, Megan Little, Sirina Little, Chris Sooksawat and Christina Sooksawat. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leonard. Services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Chaplain (Ret.) H. B. Cleveland officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial, with military honors rendered by Ellsworth Air Force Base Honor Guard, will be at 11:00 a.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery.
