John T. Loucks, 90, Rapid City, died at a local nursing home Saturday,April 4, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Bernita Loucks, Rapid City, a daughter, Karmen Miller, Austin, Texas, a son, Kevin Loucks, Ft. Collins, Colorado and three grandchildren. John served in the United States Army during World War Two. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bob Evans officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by Rushmore VFW Post 1273 and the South Dakota National Guard, will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery. Memorials have been established for West Hills Village, the First Presbyterian Church and the Rapid City Club for Boys.
