JOHN (Jack) PHILIP STANFA

June 5, 1950 - July 9, 2023

A life full of love, laughter, and family concluded on July 9, 2023 with the passing of John (Jack) Philip Stanfa in Highlands Ranch, Colorado at age 73, after a long illness. His was a happy go lucky approach to life, beginning in Rochester, NY on June 5th, 1950, where he was born and grew up until relocating to Colorado in his mid 20's.

His latter years were spent with his loving wife Joan (Gunderson) who was with him until the end. In his early lifetime, he graduated from high school in Rochester and achieved an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Monroe Community College. He completed a four-year enlistment in the US Navy, based in Hawaii and ending in 1973. Later, having always wanted to run his own business, and "ring his own cash register", he successfully operated separate enterprises as a pizza restaurant owner and Owner/Manager of a Poster Art establishment in the Denver area for many years, until his retirement.

Jack was pre-deceased by his father, Philip Stanfa and mother Elizabeth Stanfa Kirmss and a loving stepfather Alfred Kirmss.

He was survived by his wife Joan, her daughter Elizabeth, a brother Charles (Carol), relative cousins and several nieces and nephews.
