Rapid City – John Theodore Richey, 77, died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center.

John was born June 27, 1947 in Canistota, South Dakota to Lloyd and Florence (Wisner) Richey.

He entered the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of military service.

He married Virginia Richey and she died September 22, 2020.

He is survived by his sister Geraldine "Gerri" Richey of Pahrump, NV.

Private Burial Services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
