Rapid City – Joseph Michael "Mike" Vincent (Mike Vincent), passed on Tues., July 3, 2018, at the age of 71 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Mike, also known as Joe, Vince, Mickey, "the Legend" and many other names, was born in Logan, WV on April 9, 1947. While in service for the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Ellsworth. It was here he met his wife, Carolyn, with whom he enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Together they raised two daughters, Tina (Phil) McCollar and Taray (Bryan) Hall. Mike is also survived by three grandchildren (Chase, Brecken, Broc) and three great-grandchildren (Julian, Russell, Alice).

Mike will be remembered by the many friends he made at the Cement Plant, where he worked for nearly 40 years. Most of all, he will be remembered as a man who was equally generous as he was ornery, by all who were lucky to know him.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Saturday, July 14th at Ramkota from 3-7PM. Please join us anytime in the Lincoln Room for food, drinks and fond memories.
