RAPID CITY – Joyce M. LeLaCheur, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Monument Health – Rapid City Hospital.  Joyce was born to Theodore and Pearl Nelson on November 29, 1940, in Gregory, SD.  She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1958 and later married Frank D. LeLaCheur on March 31, 1959.  To this union, three children were born.

Joyce is survived by her daughters; Vicki Walz (Dale) of Hot Springs, SD, Pamela Harvey (Kevin) of Gillette, WY and her son, Dan LeLaCheur (Kreena) of Rapid City, SD.  She also leaves a sister, Inez Kenzy, five grandchildren; Ryan Walz, Jennifer Jarding, Krissa Mason, Jacob LeLaCheur and Jeremy LeLaCheur along with nine great-grandchildren; Jasper Walz, Carter Walz, Parker Walz, Jenalyn Jarding, Lily Mason, Ezekial Mason, Noah Mason, Grayson LeLaCheur, and Hunter LeLaCheur.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank D. LeLaCheur, three sisters and one brother.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at South Canyon Lutheran Church.  A meal and time of fellowship will follow the service.  Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs, SD.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to South Canyon Lutheran Church.
