Rapid City - Judith Killspotted-Gering, "Gleska Kte' Winyan", 48, beloved daughter, mother, sister, auntie, and grandmother was called home to be with the Creator on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. Compassionate, generous, caring, and loving are just a few words to describe Judy and how her bright personality touched the lives of everyone around her. The Creator blessed Larry C. Killspotted and Jean A. Grindstone as her parents. She came into the world on April 18, 1966 in Berkley, California. Judy grew up in Rapid City where she met her husband, Larry Gering. In their union they brought three daughters: Ashley M. Gering, Danielle M. Gering, and Alexandra L. Gering into the world. Judy is survived by her mother: Jean Ghost-Brown; three daughters: Ashley, Danielle, and Alexandra Gering; three beautiful grandchildren: Kyrielle Riestra, Zayden Gering and Ahlias Gering; and one sister: Betty Jo Killspotted. Judy was preceded in death by her father: Larry Killspotted and two sisters: Lonna Dacey and Danielle Marie. An All-Night Wake will begin at 7:00 pm Friday, February 20 at Mother Butler Center, 231 Knollwood Drive, Rapid City. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 21 at Mother Butler Center. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery at Rapid City next to her father: Larry Killspotted.
