Judith Mae Thomas (maiden name Jensen) passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Ann Jensen, her father, James Jensen, her sisters, Karen Nelson and Kathy Walker, and her brother, Jim Jensen.
Judy is survived by her husband Butch Thomas. Judy worked as a secretary at the local junior high and later at the high school, where her warm smile and kind spirit touched the lives of students, teachers, and staff alike. She helped countless students navigate the challenges of adolescence with compassion and understanding. She was very creative and organized many work, family, and church gatherings and events making everyone feel special. In her younger years she was atop many water ski pyramids built by her siblings and she was affectionately known as "Stretch" for her skills as a left-handed first baseman. She spent nearly every Mother's Day at the Post 22 ballpark and was a master at keeping her children and grandchildren entertained and busy. Her life was one of quiet strength, service to others, and deep love for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
A visitation will be held at 5:00pm followed by a rosary on Monday August 25th at 6:30pm at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church.
