IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Marie
Mckeon
June 1, 1949 – November 2, 2017
Rapid City - Judy Reiser McKeon (68) "26", was born in Deadwood, South Dakota on June 1, 1949, to Phyllis and Charles Reiser.
She died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She married Joe McKeon on October 19, 1974, and was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Amy 42 and Tessa 33.
Judy was truly the boss of the family but she brought laughter, love and happiness to everyone she met; always putting others first. She was a natural born leader and had no problem telling people what to do; which earned her the nickname "Bitchin' Bob" from her kid brother Bill.
Despite her condition, she never complained and was the life of the party. She had a great sense of humor. She was truly a role model to everyone and led by example. She encouraged others to live their life the way she lived hers. She taught us no matter what the adversity, be courageous, be kind and always smile because it could always be worse.
There are no words strong or bold enough to describe her, our mom, daughter, grandma, sister, aunt and dear friend.
She was rich, rich in every definition of the word. She brought unconditional love to everyone. We were so fortunate to have her in our lives.
She is survived by her daughters Amy (Angela) Carigen, Tessa (Clay) Donnelly, her grandchildren Carsen, Keegen, Chase, Ayva, Brynn, Emma and Cooper, her mother Phyllis Reiser, her special Aunt Mary Ann Moorhead, two sisters Rita Patterson, Becky (Tom) Meade, three brothers Bill (Amy) Reiser, Charlie Reiser, Joe (Deanne) Reiser, 10 nieces and nephews as well as numerous family members and friends to include her angel sent from above, Amanda Swallow.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Reiser.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by The Rapid City Catholic School System to assist with Judy's grandchildren's tuition.
