RAYTOWN-MISSOURI- Judy Ann Foster, age 75, died at St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Austin, Texas on January 6, 2018.

Born May 9, 1942 in Fargo, North Dakota, she lived in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Hot Springs, South Dakota for most of her early life.  She worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years in Rapid City and in Hot Springs, retiring in 1999.  She later moved to the Kansas City area with her husband, Bob.  At the time of her death she lived in Raytown, Missouri, with family.

She is survived by her children, Susan Foster of Austin, Texas, Robert D. Foster and Megan Foster of Raytown, Missouri, and Jeff Wicks of Leavenworth, Kansas, and her granddaughter, Kailey Foster of Austin, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert C. Foster.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, January 11, at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD.  Burial will be held in private.  Relatives and friends are welcome at the service.

Judy was the center of her family and a perfect example of unconditional love.  She made people's days better everywhere she went.  If there were more people with hearts like hers, the world would be a gentler, kinder place.  Judy, you will forever be missed.
