RAPID CITY- Judith Ann "Judy" Wilcox, 75, died Monday, June 20 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home.

She was born on March 6, 1941 in Sioux City, IA, to the late Richard Wallace Wood and the late Edna May (Johnston) Wood. She married the love of her life, the late Donald Wayne Wilcox, in Rapid City on September 6, 1972.

Judy graduated from Morningside College and was an English teacher before moving to Rapid City where she worked at Safeway, Wendy's and as a teachers' aide in several Rapid City schools.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and visiting with family.

She is survived by two step children; Lisa (Wilcox) Trudeau and Greg (Sheryl) Wilcox and two grandchildren; Missy Trudeau and Alicia Wilcox (Nathan) Roltgen, two sisters; Maxine (Ed) Treadway and Jane (the late Ron) Knutson, and a brother, Wally (Kathy) Wood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Greenhood officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.

Interment will immediately follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Parkview Evangelical Free Church for Women's Ministries.
