Karen Lee Ridgway, 81, formerly of Rapid City, died on July 8, 2025.

Karen was the Past Matron of the Golden Link Chapter 14 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rapid City, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean & Charlotte Nowlin; her son Eric Lee Ridgway; her father and mother-in-law, Leo E. & Adeline Ridgway; her mother-in-law, Wanita Schomer; her brother Bill Nowlin, and her nephew Billy Nowlin.

Karen is survived by her husband of 62 years, James L. Ridgway; her daughter Sabrina Chastain (Mark); and her granddaughter MacKenzie.

Visitation: Saturday, July 19, 1:30 p.m., followed by an Eastern Star Service at 3:00 p.m., both at the Nebraska Masonic Home, 1300 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048.

Visitation in Rapid City will be Monday, July 21, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota.
