RAPID CITY- Katherine A. "Katie" Baker, 81, Rapid City, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Rapid City Regional Auxiliary Hospice House. Survivors include one son, Mark Baker, Rapid City; one daughter, Mary Ferguson, FL; two sisters, Eleanor Jenkins and Virginia Frigon, both of New York. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyn J. "Dusty" Baker in 2000. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with a Rosary Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Fr. William Zandri presiding. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary Hospice House.
