Katherine L. (Waltman) Mayben, 83, Issaquah WA, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 15, 2025, at her home.

Katherine graduated from Rapid City High School and attended the University of Kentucky.  She was married to William Mayben for many years and together raised two sons.  She was an executive secretary for McCaw Cellular and then for the CEO of AT&T.

Survivors include one brother, Steve Waltman, Henderson NV; and one stepsister, Elizabeth Condie, Prairie Village, Kansas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at Pine Lawn Memorial Park, with Reverend JD Barnes of Emmanuel Episcopal Church officiating.  Family and friends will gather at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. for a procession to the cemetery.
